“Has the power of the mammogram been oversold?” This is seen as a problem.

 Most people agree that mammograms shoulder the responsibility of woman's health care, but many doctors think that widespread “Pink Ribbon”campaigns and patient testimonials have imbued the mammogram with the thing it doesn't have. So, some patients begin to believe that there is no doubt that regular mammograms defend breast cancer. That is why some women skip a mammogram. Actually, Dr. Laura Esserman, director of the breast care center at the University of California, San Francisco said “Screening is not prevention. We’re not going to screen our way to a cure.”

  However, Among the 60 percent of women with breast cancer who discovered the disease by screening, only about 3 percent to 13 percent of them were actually helped by the test, the analysis concluded, what it comes down to is that ...screening mammography helps 4,000 to 18,000 women each year.

 According to the article, it says that there are still 40,000 women dying every year because of breast cancer. There are many example that a lot of people who had a test can't escape death. So, I can understand a notion that people certainly don't want to have unnecessary tests. But, if it is a possibility of recovery, I want many women to have a test for thier good health.

②Limits Urged on TV for Children Under 2

 It says that parents of children should prohibit their children from spending long time in front of TV and computers. According to American Academy of Pediatrics, children under 2 years old don't benefit from video screen time. Moreover, they waste time for activities that playing with their friends and they lose an opportunity that get experiences.

 I was surprised to hearing the news that between 40 and 60 percent of households watch TV on for much of the day. Recently households usually have one or two televisions. Now we can't live comfortably without news media like televisions and computers. So I think that children spend more time for video games. The problems about electronic entertainment has steadily escalated.

Undoubtedly, there are good points of watching TV and using computers. But it is very important for infants and toddlers to learn the various of things by your experience. Children add to their stock of knowledge when they talk or play with their family and friend and so on. Therefore, I think that it is necessary that we don't devote ourselves to watch TV or use the computers.

  I think that Michael Jackson was an attractive and peculiar star. So,when I heard the news he died, I was surprised and shocked. I wish that many people all over the world loves Michael's songs and remember him forever.
